Following the completion of a 9-month accelerator program with support from TIS Inc., and our final pitch at the inaugural Deep SAGE Demo Day, we are thrilled to announce that StratifiCare has successfully secured S$500,000 in funding from TIS Inc..
This incredible investment will be strategically dedicated to advancing our core precision diagnostics: StratifiREY, our AI-powered predictive blood test designed to guide liver cancer treatments by predicting patient responses to Y90 radioembolization.
What is Deep SAGE? The Deep Tech Seed-to-A Growth Expansion (Deep SAGE) Programme is an accelerator co-created by NUS Enterprise and TIS Inc. to help Seed-stage deep tech startups bridge the "valley of death" toward Series A funding. Unlike traditional accelerators, Deep SAGE’s unique "fractional C-suite" model embeds experienced executives directly into start-up teams for 12 weeks to provide hands-on execution support and build commercial rigour.
Over the past nine months, this model helped us accelerate our entry into key overseas markets, including China and the Netherlands. We gained invaluable investor and clinical perspectives from our Mentor, Chern Chet Yong, and crucial operational support to navigate market complexities in China from our Fractional Chief Revenue Officer, Cici Chen.
As our Co-founder and CEO Dr. Anthony Chua shared, “This award is a huge validation of our efforts, and we will continue pushing ahead with our clinical trials, overseas market entry, and generating our first recurring revenue."
Thank you to TIS Inc. and NUS Enterprise for fueling our next phase of growth. We would also like to extend a special thank you to Senthil Kumaran, our main point of contact for TIS in Singapore, and Deep SAGE program advisor Hock Meng Yew for their invaluable dedication and support throughout this journey.
