We are thrilled to be part of the very first Mitsubishi Electric TECH PUSH Program 2018 in Singapore, organised by Leave a Nest Singapore, in collaboration with Mitsubishi Electric and supported by Platform E. The personal highlight of our team’s concept product: μDew – One Small Drop for Diagnostic, One Big Step for Diagnosis – incorporates Mitsubishi Electric’s Smart Air Coating into a next-generation assay platform for research and clinical diagnostics. We aim to develop a revolutionary technology that will significantly increase quantitative accuracy and ease of use, while reducing assay duration and sample volume. We were honoured to be presented with the Leave A Nest Award, which will provide us exciting opportunities to meet up with tech startups from all over the world at the upcoming Hyper-Interdisciplinary Conference in March 2019 in Japan.
With the mission of “Technology In, Future Out”, teams conceptualized innovative products by adopting water technologies developed by Mitsubishi Electric - SeaAerial Antenna and Smart Air Coating during the TECH PUSH program. It is truly amazing how different teams came up with vastly different innovative ideas; from a novel tsunami warning sensor-driven system for vulnerable communities to an efficient solar panel cleaning robotics for a more sustainable future. These creative solutions leveraged on both existing and novel technologies that are needed to drive innovation to solve world challenges we face every day. We would like to extend our congratulations to the other winning teams! We are humbled by this learning experience amongst entrepreneurs and leaders through the series of workshops, feedbacks and pitching sessions.
